Veteran actor Richard Mofe Damijo said on Saturday that he could not be Kidnapped for ransom.
He disclosed this as a guest on the “Teju Babyface Show”, which aired on Television Continental, Lagos.
According to RMD, as he is popularly known in the Nigerian film industry, he could not be Kidnapped for various reasons, one of which was that he was “a son of the soil”.
RMD, who was the Commissioner for Culture and Tourism under Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan of Delta State between 2009 and 2015, also said he could be Kidnapped because he had “no kidnap value”.
He, however, conceded that he could be abducted outside his native Delta State, but not in it, as he was too close to the grassroots.
The actor recently uploaded a throwback picture of himself in police uniform on his Instagram page,with a promise to give anyone who corrrctly guesses the name of the movie and year of production N50,000.
