Wolverhampton Wanderers fought back from two goals down to hold Arsenal to a dramatic 2-2 draw, dealing a blow to the visitors’ Premier League title ambitions.
Okay News reports that Arsenal appeared to be cruising after early and second-half goals from Bukayo Saka and Piero Hincapié handed them a 2-0 advantage at Molineux. Saka opened the scoring in the fifth minute, heading home Declan Rice’s cross, while Hincapié doubled the lead in the 56th minute after a VAR review overturned an initial offside call.
Wolves responded through Hugo Bueno, who pulled one back with a fine curling effort just five minutes later to spark hopes of a comeback. The decisive moment came deep into stoppage time when Tom Edozie, making his senior debut, struck an effort that deflected in to level the contest in the 94th minute.
The result means Arsenal missed the chance to extend their lead at the top of the table to seven points. Instead, their advantage now stands at five points, with title rivals Manchester City having the opportunity to close the gap further in their next fixture.
