Xenophobia: First batch of Nigerians land in Lagos from South Africa

The Boeing 777 aircraft belonging to Air Peace conveying Nigerians from South Africa have arrived at Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos.

Okay.ng gathered that the aircraft carrying 189 passengers landed at exactly 9:35 pm on Wednesday.

Officials of the Nigerian Immigration Service, National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), were on ground at the airport to receive them.

It can be recalled that President Muhammadu Buhari ordered the immediate evacuation of Nigerians over recent xenophobic attacks on foreigners in South Africa.
