2027: Orji Kalu Vows Tinubu Will Win Abia State, Calls for Unity in APC

By Muhammad A. Aliyu

Former Governor of Abia State, Orji Uzor Kalu, has confidently declared that President Bola Tinubu will secure victory in Abia State in the upcoming 2027 presidential election, Okay.ng reports.

Kalu made this assertion on Thursday during an Abia APC stakeholders’ meeting held at his private residence in Abuja.

Addressing party stakeholders, Kalu emphasized his commitment to rebuilding and strengthening the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abia State, stressing the need for unity and reconciliation among members.

He said:

“There is no faction in APC. I am committed to the rebuilding of the party and the overall unity of the APC in Abia State to support President Bola Tinubu in achieving his Renewed Hope agenda for the good of all Nigerians.”

Expressing determination, the former governor assured members that under his watch, Tinubu would not lose in Abia State again, urging party members to set aside differences and embrace forgiveness for the party’s progress.

“I won’t allow President Bola Tinubu to lose Abia again. I won’t be around, and it happens,” Kalu asserted.

“So we must unite and forgive ourselves. If I have offended anyone, please forgive me. Let’s make this party stronger and better.”

Prominent APC stakeholders in attendance at the meeting included the Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Nkeiruka Onyejeocha, and former APC Chairman, Donatus Nwankpa, among other top party officials from Abia State.
