Governor Adams Oshiomhole of Edo state says the September 10, 2016 governorship election in the state will be a walk over for his party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), with the emergence of Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu as the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party.

Oshiomhole who stated this yesterday when he met with some delegates of the All Progressives Congress, APC in the state, said he is very happy with the emergence of Ize-Iyamu “because he will be the easiest for Obaseki to beat.”

According to him, ” while we will be campaigning, displaying what we have done for Edo people, he will be busy running from the EFCC cell to the campaign ground then to the court room as a result of his past ordeal in the state.

“Obaseki is a brainbox, chassis and everything that led to the success of his government and I want to assure our people that he will be outstanding in terms of governance in the state. I assure you, you will be proud of Godwin Obaseki as a party leader but more importantly, in terms of quality governance.”
