John Kerry to Visit Nigeria to Meet President Buhari

The United States Secretary of State, John Kerry will be visiting Nigeria next week and meet with President Muhammadu Buhari to discuss cooperation on the fight against Boko Haram militants, the Nigerian economy and human rights issues, spokesman John Kirby said today.

He would also be visiting Kenya and Saudi Arabia. Kirby added that Kerry’s visit to Kenya would focus on South Sudan’s peace process and Somalia’s political transition.
