Olajumoke Orisaguna Reacts After Being Tagged In A South African Newspaper As ‘Dirt Poor’

Bread seller turn model Olajunoke Orisaguna has explained to her fans that the compound word ‘dirt poor’ used to describe her was not done with any ill intentions.


 

According to the fastest rising model, the word ‘dirt poor’ is a cultural thing and the Sowetan newspaper meant no harm.

Olajumoke explained by sharing a picture on the meaning of the word ‘dirt poor’ which can be likened to very poor and captioned it with the reason why it is not an insult.

In her words:”I appreciate the love and concern dear friends & family. I put this up to assure you the headline in my previous post meant no harm. It’s just a culture thing, remember it was published in South Africa. God bless you all, All I see is your love.”

It was gathered that recently, that Sowetan Live, a South African newspaper referred to her as “Dirt poor bread seller, Jumoke’s story a fairy tale”.

Her fans however took the word as an insult to the model.
