Chelsea Announce Exclusive Partnership with Sony Music

In a bid to unite sports and music, the ‘Pride of London’ Chelsea Football Club has announced an exclusive partnership with Sony Music.

The agreement seeks to unite the passion of sports and music with both Chelsea and Sony taking the stride.

Chelsea FC News reports that this move is majorly to entertain their supporters with a special Sony Music playlist.

The football club’s commercial director Chris Townsend OBE said that they are extremely excited to be in partnership with Sony Music artists because they produce the best songs on the planet.

He said: ‘We are incredibly excited to join forces with Sony Music, one of the leading entertainment companies in the world. Combining some of the world’s most celebrated music artists and football stars will create innovative content and experiences for our global fan base, starting with an exciting competition for fans of football and music all over the world.’

The vice president of international marketing, Sony Music International, Dusko Justic added: “Both football and music are fuelled by passionate fans. That emotional pull makes the connection so satisfying.

“We want to combine the two and elevate the experience to new heights. Everyone here at Sony is incredibly proud and excited to work with Chelsea Football Club.”
