Super Eagles head coach, Gernot Rohr, has released a 23-man squad for next month’s 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against South Africa and a friendly against Uganda three days later.
 
Charleroi forward, Victor Osimhen, has been recalled to the team for the first time since June 2017 along with Samuel Chuwkueze of Villarreal, and Adeleye Olamilekan of FC Ifeanyi Ubah.
 
Wilfred Ndidi is left out, as he will serve a suspension after picking up two yellow cards against Seychelles and Libya.
