Nigeria’s Burna Boy Announced as Performer for 2024 Grammy Awards

Nigerian music sensation Damini Ogulu, widely known as Burna Boy, has been added to the impressive roster of performers for the upcoming 66th Grammy Awards.

The announcement was made on Monday morning by the Recording Academy.

Burna Boy, renowned for his title as the ‘African Giant,’ will share the Grammy stage with notable artists such as Luke Combs and Travis Scott.

The Recording Academy shared the exciting news on their official X handle, stating, “Attention: African Giant @BurnaBoy will take the #GRAMMYs stage on Sunday, February 4th at 8 PM ET / 5 PM PT on @CBS.”

Burna Boy joins other notable performers like Olivia Rodrigo, Billie Eilish, and Dua Lipa.

The Nigerian singer, Burna Boy, received three Grammy nominations at the 66th Grammys.

His nominations include Best Melodic Rap Performance for ‘Sittin’ On Top Of The World,’ Best Global Music Performance for ‘Alone,’ and Best African Music Performance for ‘City Boys.’
