Big Brother Naija ‘No Loose Guard’ contestant, Chinwe, has stirred up a heated debate after claiming that Grammy-winning afrobeats singer Wizkid is “no longer relevant” in the music industry.

During a conversation with fellow housemates on Saturday, Chinwe boldly stated that rising afrobeats sensation Rema has now surpassed the Starboy boss in terms of success and impact.

Chinwe’s comments have sparked a wave of reactions, both inside and outside the BBNaija house. “Wizkid is no longer relevant. When was the last time he sold out a show? Even Rema is doing better than him,” Chinwe asserted, questioning Wizkid’s current standing in the music scene.

She further emphasized that Wizkid needs to “prove himself” and reclaim his status as a superstar, unlike Burna Boy, whom she praised for consistently living up to his reputation.

“Currently, Wizkid isn’t doing great. He has to prove himself and earn his status as a superstar. If it’s Burna Boy, I won’t be having this conversation. Burna Boy is doing well. He’s proving himself,” Chinwe added.
