Nigerian music sensation Ahmed Ololade, better known as Asake, is under public scrutiny following allegations from his father, Fatai Odunsi, and a woman identified as Adijat, who claims to be his former partner.

While Odunsi alleges that Asake promised to buy him a house, Adijat accuses the singer of neglecting their supposed 11-year-old daughter, Zeenat.

In a recent interview, Fatai Odunsi expressed his expectation that Asake would fulfill his promise of securing a house for him.

Odunsi, who is reportedly battling health issues, including a stroke, stated, “Asake is ready to buy me a house.” His family members are reportedly urging Asake to assist with his father’s medical needs and honor his commitment to providing accommodation.

Simultaneously, Adijat has made allegations that Asake has been absent from their daughter’s life. According to her, she financially supported the singer during his struggling years, sending him money from her thrift savings while he was still in school.

She also mentioned that Odunsi was supportive of her efforts at the time, often encouraging her to seek help whenever necessary.

However, Adijat claims that after Asake completed his education and moved to Lekki, he cut off communication. She alleges he ignored her calls and even suggested she was free to marry someone else since he was too focused on his career.

“He sent me messages saying he would block me. He told me I was free to marry someone else, as he had no time for a relationship,” Adijat recounted.

These revelations have sparked conversations online, with fans and critics expressing shock and disappointment. Many have called on Asake to address the allegations publicly, particularly regarding his alleged negligence towards his daughter and the promise made to his father.

As of now, Asake has not made any public statement concerning the allegations. The controversy continues to stir discussions about the responsibilities of celebrities towards their families and the potential strain fame can place on personal relationships.
