Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage has revealed that she is open to becoming a second wife, citing her current dating realities and limited options in her age bracket.
Speaking during a recent episode of the American podcast, Air Service, the award-winning singer shared that most of the eligible men she meets are either married or much older, leaving her with few choices when it comes to finding a life partner.
“If I meet somebody who can really marry me, they are either in their 50s or already married. So, I don’t know. Maybe I can be a second wife. I think so. I could be a second wife,” she said.
The mother of one went on to explain that she would not be a difficult co-wife, assuring that she respects marriage traditions and would avoid any form of conflict.
“I think I can go along with the first wife and she’s going to love me because I’m not going to be troublesome. I’m going to be going on tours, I’m not really going to stress you. I’m very respectful, I know that you are the first wife and would accord you that respect,” Tiwa Savage added.
Tiwa, who rose to fame with hit songs such as Kele Kele Love and Somebody’s Son, was previously married to music executive Tunji Balogun, popularly known as TBillz, between 2013 and 2018. The union produced a son.
