Arsenal put out an impressive second-half performance to defeat Bayern Munich 3–1 in a top-of-the-table Champions League clash at the Emirates Stadium.

Jurrien Timber opened the scoring in the 21st minute with a glancing header from Bukayo Saka’s corner, but Bayern hit back through 17-year-old Lennart Karl, who finished off a sharp move to level the game before the break.

After halftime, Arsenal took full control. Noni Madueke came off the bench to score his first goal for the club, finishing a well-worked move involving Ebere Eze and Riccardo Calafiori. Moments later, Gabriel Martinelli punished Bayern on the counter, racing from inside his own half, rounding Manuel Neuer and calmly rolling the ball into an empty net.

Arsenal created numerous chances throughout, with Declan Rice, Saka, and Mikel Merino all going close, while David Raya made key saves to deny Bayern during their rare attacking moments.

The win sends Arsenal three points clear at the top of the Champions League standings and leaves them as the only unbeaten team in the competition. Their European campaign pauses now as they prepare for Premier League matches against Chelsea, Brentford, and Aston Villa before returning to Champions League action against Club Brugge.
