Nigerian Army Retakes Key Borno Town From Boko Haram Terrorists

The Nigerian Army has retaken the economically strategic town of Gomboru Ngala, from the islamist Boko Haram militants in Borno state.

Troops took back the town on Tuesday, the Acting Director Army Public Relation, Sani Usman, said in a brief statement.

“The triumphant troops are now busy with clearing and mopping up patrols,” he said.
