Again, EFCC Arrests 15 Suspected Internet Fraudsters in Zaria

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested 15 suspected internet fraudsters in Zaria, Kaduna State.

Our correspondent gathered that the suspects were apprehended outside the premises of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, following credible intelligence linking a syndicate of fraudsters to suspected involvement in internet fraud.

According to a statement released by the EFCC on Thursday, the operatives acted swiftly on the intelligence received, leading to the arrest of the suspects in the vicinity of the university. Items recovered from the suspects include cell phones and laptops.

The suspects have been moved to the Kano Zonal Command of the EFCC for further investigation and will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
