Akpabio: I Have Prayed For Those Involved That God Will Forgive Them For Pushing You To Have Mercy – Sen Fadahunsi

In a recent video uploaded by Viable TV on YouTube, Senator Ade Fadahunsi, representing Osun East, voiced his concerns over the ongoing dispute in the Senate regarding seat allocations.

Addressing the matter, Senator Fadahunsi lamented the state of affairs within the legislative chamber, emphasizing the significance of the Senate’s role in national governance.

“It seems as if we don’t know where we are and who we are today. We are number three in this country, which means all of us are that number three. It’s a serious upper layer of the whole nation—109 out of 250 million people—so it carries what we call integrity. And for the past two weeks, that integrity has declined,” he stated.

He criticized the situation, describing it as a trivial matter that has unnecessarily escalated. “Just because of mere trivial matters over allocating seats and so on. You don’t want to know what is underneath,” he added.

Senator Fadahunsi also hinted at underlying tensions within the Senate, suggesting that external influences may have contributed to the discord.

He expressed his prayers for those involved, saying, “God, in His kindness, has made those who pushed you to assist confess. I have prayed for him, that may God forgive him and Jubril for pushing you to have mercy.”

He later said, God Himself said, “I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy,” not on everyone. This should serve as a lesson for you.

“God even said I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy on, not everybody and it has even taught you a lesson. You have to look at the whole issue critically before you even act today.”
