Alleged Naira Abuse: Portable Begs EFCC for Forgiveness

By Damilola A.

Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has made a plea to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), urging them to forgive him if they have any evidence against him for alleged Naira abuse.

In a recent Instagram live session, Portable addressed the allegations, stating that it was never his intention to mutilate the Naira.

He emphasized that his actions, particularly spraying money, were aimed at assisting the masses and not for any malicious purposes.

The singer expressed his respect for constituted authority, affirming that he holds the government in high regard.

He acknowledged that his conduct, particularly when seen spraying money, may have inadvertently led to concerns about Naira abuse.

“After God, na government. I’m not mutilating the Naira. I only help a lot of people. If you see me spraying money, please forgive me,” Portable remarked during the live session.

Portable’s statement comes amidst the arraignment of popular socialite, Pascal Okechukwu, aka Cubana Chief Priest for Naira abuse, days after crossdresser Bobrisky was sent to prison for similar offence.
