By Farouk Mohammed

Fatima Abdullahi, a 15-year-old SS1 student, who happens to be one of the 76 Dapchi schoolgirls freed by Boko Haram insurgents, has confirmed the death of five other girls.

Speaking over the phone to her father’s employer, Modu Geidam, Fatima said none of the 110 abducted schoolgirls was maltreated, except for five of the girls that died as a result of congestion in the vehicle that conveyed them.

She further said the girls were kept in an “underground place where even aircraft” could not notice them. She stated that they were well fed and medically cared for.
