Barcelona midfielder Sergio Busquets has renewed his agreement with the club until 2023.
Busquets’ arrangement was intended to run out in 2021, and under the new get, his buyout provision has been increased from 200 to 500 million euros ($234-584m).
The agreement renewal for the 30-year-old follows after comparable arrangements for Lionel Messi, who has marked on until 2021, Sergi Roberto (2022), goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen (2022) and Samuel Umtiti (2023).
