AC Milan forward, Gonzalo Higuain will not be joining Premier League club, Chelsea during January transfer window.
According to Goal, the reason is that the 31-year-old is currently on loan at Milan from Juventus, making a potential deal difficult to conclude with two other clubs involved.
Chelsea manager, Maurizio Sarri is keen to bring the Argentine striker to bolster his frontline this month in order to ease the goalscoring burden on talisman Eden Hazard.
However, the Blues will now look elsewhere for another striker despite recent reports suggesting otherwise.
