Churchill Olakunle Responds to Tonto Dikeh’s Deadbeat Father Accusations

By Damilola A.

Churchill Olakunle has responded to the recent call-out post from his ex-wife, Tonto Dikeh, on social media.

Tonto Dikeh took to her Instagram page on Saturday morning, where she poured out a plethora of accusations against her ex-husband, Churchill, regarding their son’s birthday celebration, referring to him as a “deadbeat” father.

In her lengthy messages, Tonto Dikeh alleged that Churchill had failed to check up on their son or pay for his fees in seven years.

In response, Churchill took to his Instagram stories to counter the allegations with a series of proofs to back up his claims.

Churchill accused the actress of seeking public sympathy and attention by always playing the victim, stating that Tonto restricted his access to their son, and he was only granted access on his second birthday at his school.

He claimed that Tonto had always made things difficult for him and frustrated his efforts to be present in his son’s life.

Churchill charged Tonto to move on, stating that she is not the first woman to give birth in Nigeria or to have a failed marriage. He also debunked Tonto’s claim that he is a broke man and shared screenshots of receipts and proof on his Instagram stories.

According to Churchill, Tonto had sold his SUV worth 22 million Naira without his consent and to date, she is yet to give him back his car or the money she got from the sale.

He further accused Tonto of being the problem and always making things difficult for him, even though he had made several efforts to be present in his son’s life.

The accusations from both parties have sparked reactions from Nigerians on social media, with many taking sides and others calling for an amicable resolution to the issue.
