Spain international goalkeeper, David de Gea has been named Manchester United Player of the Year for the 2014/15 Season by both fans and players. The former Atletico Madrid star, whose impressive performances saw his club racking up 69 points with one more game left to play, picked the award ahead of Ashley Young and Juan Mata on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at the Manchester United end of season gig. So good are his reflexes and saves that after just four years with Manchester United, he is being heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid next season although Man U insist there is no official approach yet.
