Emiliano Sala, Cardiff City forward will be laid to rest on Saturday, at Progreso in the Argentinian province of SantaFe.
The 28-year-old footballer and pilot David Ibbotson went missing from radar near Guernsey last month.
But his body was seen in the wreckage of a plane which crashed in the English Channel.
Cardiff City chief executive, Ken Choo and club manager, Neil Warnock will also attend Sala’s funeral.
