Evra Signs New Contract to Stay at Juventus

Patrice Evra has signed a contract extension with Juventus to keep him at the club until 2017, with the option for a further year.

Evra, 35, joined Juve from Manchester United in 2014 and has won back-to-back domestic doubles with the Italian side as well as the 2015 Supercoppa Italiana.

His two-year contract was due to expire this summer but he has now signed on for at least one further campaign.

After the announcement of the deal, Evra wrote on Instagram: “2 years ,5 trophies ! Same next 2 years plus The champion? Andiamoooooo sono gia carico !!! My favorite question what i Will do with all these trophies ? crazy song hahahaha”

Evra, who won five Premier League titles and one Champions League with United, has been included in the France squad for Euro 2016 this summer.
