FAAN Resumes Access Gate Fee Collection at Abuja Airport

The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has resumed the collection of access gate fees at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, after a brief suspension.

In a statement posted on its official X handle on Saturday, FAAN announced that the collection officially resumed on February 8, 2025.

“The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) wishes to inform the general public that the authority has officially resumed collection of access gate fees at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja at 8:30am, 8th February, 2025,” the statement reads.

FAAN explained that the charges were initially suspended on January 24, 2025, due to inconveniences caused by ongoing road construction at the airport.

The aviation authority also expressed gratitude to travelers and airport users for their understanding and cooperation during the suspension period.
