Super Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr has announced the appointment of Enrico Pionetti as the team’s goalkeeper coach.
Rohr appointed the Italian to help ease the goalkeeper crisis rocking the team as it appears current trainer Alloy Agu has no answers to the questions of who will man the post for Nigeria when the World Cup qualifiers resume.
Pionetti, who was with the coach upon arrival in Nigeria yesterday, will head to Kano later in the week to check on the home-based Eagles team who are in camp ahead of CHAN qualifiers.
The coach worked with Rohr when he was coach of French Ligue 1 side Nice and also in Burkina Faso.
