Kano State Governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has sacked the state Accountant General, Dr. Danjuma Adamu, of his duties with immediate effect.
Adamu is to hand over to the Director of Treasury in the Ministry of Finance, Ibrahim A. M. Kura, being the most senior.
This was contained in In a press statement signed by the Commissioner for Information, Mallam Muhammad Garba, and made available to reporters on Sunday.
In the statement, Ganduje thanked the outgoing Accountant General for the services he rendered to the State.
