Juventus Releases Statement Over Ronaldo Rape Allegation [Read Statement]

Italian football club, Juventus have issued a statement in support of Cristiano Ronaldo, who has been accused of raping Kathryn Mayorga, a 34-year-old US former teacher.
 
The Italian club issued a statement through their official Twitter account and wrote:
 
“@Cristiano Ronaldo has shown in recent months his great professionalism and dedication, which is appreciated by everyone at Juventus.
 
“The events allegedly dating back to almost 10 years ago do not change this opinion, which is shared by anyone who has come into contact with this great champion,” the Serie A champions tweeted from their official Twitter handle.
