Kidnappers Will Pay Dearly, No Hiding Place: NSA Vows

Nigeria’s National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, has vowed that kidnappers and their accomplices will face severe consequences, with no safe haven for them, either domestically or internationally, okaynews.com reports.

Speaking in Abuja on Friday during the handover of rescued kidnap victims, including former NYSC Director-General Brigadier General Maharazu Tsiga and Ambassador Gideon Yohana, Ribadu expressed alarm at the persistent abduction crisis despite ongoing security efforts.

He assured that the government, under President Bola Tinubu, is relentlessly pursuing these criminals and that the rescued victims represent the nation’s collective suffering. The Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, echoed this commitment, emphasizing the need for a unified national effort against insecurity and urging citizens to report any suspicious activity. Brigadier General Tsiga, recounting his harrowing experience, called for continued faith and collective responsibility in combating the menace.
