Nigerian singer, Oluwatobiloba Anidugbe, popularly known as Kizz Daniel, has been released from police custody in Tanzania.
This was announced by the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM) in a tweet while giving an update on his arrest on Monday.
“Kizz Daniel has been released. His legal team will, however, report back to the police tomorrow while he will subsequently return to Nigeria,” the tweet reads.
Okay.ng recalls that the ‘Buga’ singer was whisked away by the police after he “blatantly refused” to perform at his show.
However, no official statement was issued by the authorities on this incident.
