Leicester City football club owner, Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha is feared dead, after the helicopter used by Him, Along with his daughter, two pilots and an unidentified fifth person crashed in flames near the ground.
 
Leicester’s mayor, Peter Soulsby has released a short statement on the incident.
 
A helicopter owned by Srivaddhanaprabha crashed in the carpark of the Foxes’ stadium after their 1-1 draw with West Ham.
 
The helicopter usually picks Srivaddhanaprabha and members of his family after every home game.
 
A fireball engulfed the helicopter in flames.
 
Police are investigating the incident but Srivaddhanaprabha is feared dead, according to BBC and other UK media.
 
As of this morning, the wreckage of the helicopter crash is still in the car park where it crashed.
 
Leicestershire Police tweeted, “The AAIB is leading an investigation after a helicopter crashed at the King Power Stadium.
 
“It came down in a car park near the stadium shortly after 8.30pm yesterday evening (Saturday 27 October).
 
“The force is liaising with Leicester City Football Club as enquiries continue.”
