Real Madrid has officially confirmed the signing of French superstar Kylian Mbappé from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) on a free transfer.
This Spanish club and recent Champions League winners made this announcement in a statement on Monday.
According to Real Madrid, the 25-year-old striker will be at the club for the next five years.
The statement reads: “Official statement. 03/06/2024 Real Madrid C.F. and Kylian Mbappé have reached an agreement whereby he will be a Real Madrid player for the next five seasons.”
Reacting to the announcement, Mbappé shared a post via his Instagram stating that: “This is a dream come true, I’m so happy and proud to join the club of my dreams.
“Nobody can understand how excited I am right now. Can’t wait to see you, Madridistas, and thanks for your unbelievable support. Hala Madrid!“
