Mohamed Salah Hints at Liverpool Exit Amid Contract Uncertainty

By Yusuf Abubakar

Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah has dropped a major hint about his potential departure from the club next year, revealing that no talks have been initiated regarding a contract extension.

Salah’s current deal with Liverpool is set to expire in June 2025, but the 32-year-old has suggested he may not remain at Anfield beyond the current season.

Speaking about his future, Salah expressed disappointment over the lack of discussions about renewing his deal.

“I’m probably more out than in! I didn’t receive any proposal,” Salah stated. “We’re almost in December, and I haven’t received any offers yet to stay in the club. I’m probably more out than in.”

With his contract nearing its final 18 months, Salah will be eligible to negotiate with foreign clubs from January 2024, potentially setting the stage for a high-profile exit from Liverpool.

Salah has been a key figure at Liverpool since joining from AS Roma in 2017, contributing to the club’s Premier League and Champions League triumphs. However, his latest comments have raised concerns among fans about his future at Anfield.

The club has yet to comment on Salah’s remarks or confirm plans to engage in contract negotiations.
