Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has written a letter to a 94-year-old supporter of the Red Devils Fredrick Schofield who is recovering from stroke.
The Portuguese thought it was in perfect order to put aside his managerial activities to wish the lifelong United faithful well, after learning of his struggles.
”We have recently been advised about all your wonderful dedication to Manchester United,” Mourinho said in the letter.
”I just wanted to write to you to thank you for your loyal support and devotion to the club. The enthusiasm of the fans continues to astound me.”
Mourinho signed off his letter by informing Schofield that ‘myself, the players and the staff are all thinking of you’ as his family surprised him with the personal note after reaching out to the Red Devils.
