Paris Saint-Germain superstar, Neymar Jnr., has reportedly asked his father to finalize a move to Real Madrid before this year’s World Cup in Russia.

According to sport, kit giants Nike is believed to hold the key to the money-spinning deal.

Neymar is currently recuperating from surgery on his broken foot, but is expected to lead Brazil to the tournament which begins on June 14.

The 26-year-old only joined PSG from Barcelona last summer, in a world-record deal worth £198million.

But it is believed that he is ready to return to Spain and join the Catalan giants’ rivals Real.

His father, who also acts as his agent, has reportedly met with Real bosses as the Spanish champions bid to seal a deal that could be worth up to €400m (£355m).
