The latest data released by the Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement System (NIBSS) reveals that registrations for the Bank Verification Number (BVN) have surged to 61.16 million as of March 15, 2024.
According to the NIBSS website, the total count of BVNs now stands at 61,166,384, marking a significant increase since the earlier report in January.
In January 2024, the BVN count was reported to be 59.9 million. This latest figure indicates that there have been 674,280 new registrations for BVN between late January and mid-March.
