Nigerian Rapper Odumodublvck Involved in Ghastly Car Accident, Currently Hospitalized

Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu, widely known as Odumodublvck, has been hospitalized after surviving a serious car accident. The incident occurred on February 25, 2025.

Odumodublvck shared the news with his fans by posting images on his official X (formerly Twitter) account.

The photos depicted the wreckage of his vehicle and him lying in a hospital bed receiving medical attention. In his post, he stated: “SURVIVED. THE MACHINE MUST ARRIVE IN ONE PIECE. IT IS A MUST. THE MACHINE IS COMING.”

The accident involved a head-on collision that left the front of his car severely damaged. Despite the severity of the crash, the 31-year-old artist sustained only minor injuries but was admitted to a medical facility for treatment. Details regarding whether he was alone in the vehicle at the time of the accident have not been disclosed.

Fans and fellow artists have expressed relief and concern over the incident. Social media platforms have been flooded with messages wishing the rapper a speedy recovery.

One fan commented: “Thank God for life oo. We for pity this boy real real.” Another added: “Bruhhhhhhhh Thank God for your life. Your mama prayers the work Ajeh.”

Odumodublvck gained prominence with his 2022 hit single “Picanto,” featuring Zlatan and Ecko Miles. In 2023, he signed with NATIVE Records in partnership with Def Jam Recordings and released the mixtape “EZIOKWU,” which included the chart-topping track “Declan Rice.”

His unique blend of hip-hop, grime, and Afrobeats has solidified his position in Nigeria’s contemporary music scene.

This recent car accident is not the first time Odumodublvck has faced a life-threatening situation. In December 2024, during a performance at Sol Beach in Elegushi, Lagos, the stage collapsed, but he escaped unharmed.
