Osun APC Stalwart Urges Tinubu to Address Escalating Security Threats

A prominent figure in the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, Hon. Olatunbosun Oyintiloye, has urged President Bola Tinubu to take swift and decisive action against the growing wave of kidnappings and other security threats across the country.

In a statement released in Osogbo on Sunday, the former lawmaker expressed deep concern over the recent spike in kidnapping incidents, warning that the progress made by security forces under the current administration must not be allowed to slip away.

While commending the President and the nation’s security agencies for their ongoing efforts, Oyintiloye stressed that the recent resurgence of insecurity demands urgent intervention. He emphasized the importance of stronger collaboration between security agencies to effectively combat criminal activities.

“The perpetrators of these acts are not spirits but human beings who can be apprehended and prosecuted if intelligence and coordination are strengthened,” he said.

Highlighting the collective nature of national security, Oyintiloye called on citizens to actively support government efforts by providing credible information that could aid in tracking and apprehending criminals.

He praised President Tinubu for his commitment to national security and stability, noting that public cooperation remains crucial to achieving long-term peace.

“The recent rise in kidnapping has become a major concern for Nigerians. It is vital that the government responds swiftly and decisively to protect lives and maintain order,” Oyintiloye stated.

He also called for the prompt prosecution of offenders to serve as a deterrent and reinforce the rule of law.
