Real Madrid are ready to submit a bid to sign Marcos Alonso from Chelsea, before the transfer window closes in Spain on August 31.
AS reports that Chelsea are yet to put a price tag on Alonso, but he could be available for around €30million.
The Spanish full-back moved to Stamford Bridge from Fiorentina in 2016.
However, he grew up at Real Madrid’s Los Blancos academy, before moving to Bolton Wanderers in 2010.
The LaLiga side believes Alonso could play in the heart of the back line and would also serve as a back-up for Marcelo, following the loan of Theo Hernandez to Real Sociedad.
