Shocking 2016 Video Surfaces Allegedly Diddy Assaulting Cassie Ventura

By Damilola A.

A shocking video from 2016 has surfaced online, showing music mogul Sean ‘Diddy‘ Combs allegedly kicking, hitting, and dragging his former girlfriend, Cassie Ventura.

The hotel surveillance footage, dated March 5, 2016, was obtained by CNN and captured from multiple camera angles.

In the video, released on Friday, Cassie is seen wearing a black sweater with the hood up and carrying a duffle bag while calling for an elevator at the now-closed InterContinental Hotel in Los Angeles.

Diddy is then seen chasing her down the hallway dressed in a towel. He catches up with Cassie, striking and yanking her by the hair before throwing her to the ground.

The footage shows Diddy kicking Ventura twice while she is on the ground, picking up her bag, and dragging her back toward the hotel room.

This incident appears to corroborate several allegations made in a now-settled federal lawsuit filed by Cassie in November 2023.

In the lawsuit, Cassie claimed she was trafficked, raped, and beaten by Combs on multiple occasions over a span of 10 years.

The lawsuit described Combs as a “serial domestic abuser, who would regularly beat and kick Ms. Ventura, leaving black eyes, bruises, and blood.”

Diddy has denied the allegations, calling them “offensive and outrageous.”

The rapper and Cassie’s relationship began in 2007, and they made their public debut as a couple in 2012. However, the pair broke up after a heated argument in 2018.
