Manchester United will be hoping that Manchester City beat Watford in the FA Cup final.
The Reds were held to a 1-1 draw by Huddersfield Town at John Smith’s Stadium on Sunday.
United are sixth in the Premier League, four points behind fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur with one match to end the season.
Manchester City will play against Watford in the FA Cup final on May 18, 2019.
However, if Watford beat Manchester City in the FA Cup final and Manchester United finishes sixth, the Hornets will automatically book their place in the UEFA Europa League next season.
And Manchester United would then be dumped into playing UEFA Europa League qualifying matches which starts on July 25, 2019.
Meanwhile, the Red Devils have won the UEFA Europa League under Jose Mourinho two years ago.
