Former Arsenal midfielder, Thomas Partey, has been charged with five counts of rape and one count of sexual assault.
The 32-year-old Ghanaian international, who recently became a free agent after his contract with Arsenal expired this week, now faces multiple allegations involving three different women.
According to the charges, two counts of rape relate to one woman, three counts to a second, and the sexual assault charge to a third. The incidents are alleged to have taken place between 2021 and 2022.
Partey is scheduled to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on August 5.
