The former Deportivo La Coruna shot-stopper won the hearts of many football fans on Thursday in the UEFA Europa League match against Manchester United at Old Trafford.
His club Omonia Nicosia ended up losing the game by a 90-minute-winners from Scott McTominay, but his performance was well-noticed by football across the World.
UEFA on Friday afternoon released the names of the players listed for the player of the week and Uzoho was among the nominated player.
He was listed among Oliviera of Braga, Veerman ( PSV), and Bovim of Sturm Graz of Austria.
The winner will be announced this weekend.
